An Intricate Russian Game Or Something More Sinister?

Most magicians will tell you that the real key to being successful is getting people to look one way long enough so you can use your sleight of hand to pull off your magic act. They will tell you that it is extremely important to control and direct your audience by capturing their attention and fostering a genuine interest. Barack Obama and the Democrats seem to have taken a page or two from the magician playbook. Over the last few months, you would be hard pressed not to have heard about the Russians hacking and meddling in the election. It seems everywhere you look these days there is another news story that continues to keep the American people focused on the Russians and their supposed ties to the Trump administration. It definitely makes for exciting and exhilarating news. But like a magic act, the real story is not where the magician is directing your attention, rather it is behind the scenes and in the darkness where the truth lies.

For all the hype and media buzz, the truth is that there is no real evidence of Russian hacking or meddling. The Democratic National Committee had their computer system supposedly hacked. The head of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, had been told repeatedly that she needed to upgrade the security of the DNC computers. She failed to do so, and last July, WikiLeaks released pages and pages of damning emails showing the fix was in to give Hillary Clinton the Democratic Party nomination. As more and more emails were leaked, Schultz was forced to resign as the head of the DNC. She quickly found a new job though on the staff of the Hillary Clinton campaign team. The DNC hired a private security firm to come in and they concluded it was the Russians who hacked in and stole the information and then proceeded to feed that information to WikiLeaks. The FBI never had the opportunity to check those computers and servers and had to take the word of the private security firm. Thus, the Russians are deemed the culprits and the Democrats and the media proceed to run with this narrative. President Obama finds that the evidence is overwhelming that the Russians hacked and meddled in the presidential election and he proceeded to put sanctions on Russia. Seems cut and dry and all tidy.

But questions abound. On July 10, 2016 around 4:19 AM, a 27 year old was shot in the back just blocks from his home in Washington DC. His name was Seth Rich and he worked for the DNC as a staffer and worked in the voter database division. This would mean he had complete access to the entire DNC computer system. WikiLeaks offered a $20,000 reward for any information that would aid in finding the killers of him. The DC police ruled it a robbery gone bad. But nothing was taken from Rich. Not his wallet, jewelry, or cell phone. Nothing at all. So why would WikiLeaks offer such a huge reward for a DNC staffer that nobody heard of before? Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has consistently stated he didn't get his information from the Russians. Could Seth Rich have been the source of the DNC leaks? Was it an inside job and the DNC knew it and used the Russians as a viable cover story to mask the truth? Could Rich have been a Bernie Sanders supporter and accidently found the emails that the fix was in to give Hillary Clinton the nomination and thus decided to leak this information to Assange? These are just a few of the questions that come to mind of anyone with a logical brain.

Is it plausible that President Obama and Hillary Clinton might make up a cover story to hide the truth? Indeed it is. One need only harken back to September 2012 and Benghazi to see evidence of such a cover story. The American consulate and CIA compound in Benghazi, Libya were attacked on September 11, 2012 by a terrorist group associated with al-Qaeda. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three others were killed in the attack, which the Obama administration and then secretary of state Hillary Clinton claimed was due to an anti-Muslim YouTube video. As the details and facts have surfaced through several years of hearings and testimony, it has become perfectly clear that Mrs. Clinton knew this was a terrorist attack from the beginning and made up the YouTube video to hide the truth during a crucial 2012 presidential election campaign. They needed the cover story to last long enough to get them another four years in the White House and the media did their part to sell that false narrative to the American people. As Obama's former chief of staff Rahm Emmanuel always said, "Never let a crisis go to waste". The ends always justify the means in President Obama's world.

So if the whole Russian story is just an elaborate ruse, what is the real end game that most are missing? It is all about getting power back and finishing off this republic once and for all. It is about the 2018 midterm elections and the 2020 presidential campaign to win back the White House. There are 33 US Senate seats up in 2018 and 25 of those are Democrat seats. At least ten of those Democrats are either vulnerable or somewhat vulnerable. The Democrats need to shore up their base and try to create real fear and doubt in the minds of people who voted for Trump. They need Trump voters to stay home and keep them from coming out to vote for the Republicans. If they can frustrate and silence the Silent Majority and undermine and delegitimize President Trump for the next few years through false narratives and being flat out obstructionists, they can build themselves a path back to power. It is increasingly obvious that Mr. Obama and his most trusted advisers are actively working to orchestrate an elaborate campaign of war on President Trump and his administration. It is nothing short of a sinister coup d'état. This may sound like hyperbole but it is far from it. President Trump is the fly in the ointment. He wasn't supposed to beat Hillary Clinton. The left was so close to putting the final nails in the coffin of our republic and Mr. Trump has succeeded in at least temporarily delaying their agenda. Make no mistake, they not only want to stop President Trump, but they want to silence all of those Americans in fly over country. The more they can continue to sell the Russian narrative and get people to buy into it, the easier it will be for them to get back their power and control and finish taking America down the road to socialism and communism. The question is will the American people eventually see through the Obama shell game and see the sleight of hand before the show is over and give our republic at least a chance to survive or will they be dazzled and amazed by the smoke and mirrors and let the magician seal the casket of Lady Liberty once and for all?
